Reflect Psychology is located at 2 Brigalow Ave, Blackwood, SA, 5051. There is a visitor carpark on the left side of the driveway, that we encourage clients to use. There are also two train stations and bus stops in close walking distance to the building.
Hours & Appointments

Session Fees
From the 1st July 2025 fees are as follows:
Initial appointment fee = $315 for 75 minutes (out of pocket gap payment = $169.75 with a valid mental health care plan. See medicare rebate details below)
Standard 50-60 minute session fee = $250 (out of pocket gap payment = $104.75 with a valid mental health care plan)
The Australian Psychological Association recommends that fees for Clinical Psychology services in Australia between 2024-2025 should be charged at $311 for a 50 minute session. As we wish to ensure our services are accessible for many people, we are keeping our rates well below this suggested level.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer concession rates at Reflect Psychology.

Medicare Rebates
With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP you will be entitled to a rebate from Medicare for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please inquire with your GP for details about how to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan.
The Medicare rebate for a session with a Clinical Psychologist from 1st July 2025 is $145.25 per session.
Sessions payments are made in full on the day of the session either by cash or Eftpos – and your Medicare rebate will be processed the same day. Please ensure you have enough funds to cover the full cost of the session, as Medicare will rebate you only after full payment is made. It is also good to check that Medicare have your current bank account details registered with them so they can transfer your rebate immediately. If Medicare do not have your bank account details then a significant delay in receiving your rebate may occur.R
Cancellation Fees
Loss of income is a difficulty faced by private Psychologists, as we are only paid when a client attends their session. Therefore cancellation fees do apply at Reflect Psychology for cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice.
For cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time, a fee of $125 is payable.
For cancellations within 3 hours of the appointment time, or for a missed appointment, the full session fee of $250 is payable.
Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice allow us the possibility of filling the appointment time. It is also helpful for other clients who may be waiting for an appointment when demand is high.
